A quick glance at David Dees and you know he’s a guy with a lot of passion – for people, wine, food – everything that makes life enjoyable.
David’s professional career has touched on virtually every aspect of the good life, with stints at Four Seasons Hotels, Heavenly Valley, and the famed Pebble Beach Resort. Holding a variety of positions associated with food, catering and events, David developed what has become a life-long passion for great wine.
A California native, David moved to Las Vegas in 2002 for a whole new adventure: working for DeLuca’s Fine Wine Division where his wine appreciation took on greater depth and breadth. He not only was privy to many of the world’s finest wines, but he also was responsible for presenting and selling wine to many of Las Vegas’ top resorts – from the MGM and Wynn to the Bellagio, Ritz Carlton, and more.
David’s background in food, restaurants, resorts, catering, sales, and wine have given him an appreciation and understanding of the many nuances of what constitutes success in the food and wine industry. What’s more, he’s developed a very useful skill during his professional travels: an ability to pair food and wine that’s simply “off the charts.”
All of which makes David a tremendous addition to the team. In July 2009, he came on board as JAQK Cellars’ National Sales Manager, where he has tasked himself with bringing the world a family of first-class wines while having a ton of fun in the process.
